Having burnt their fingers on hot sugar since childhood, the two brothers, Leo and René Tanis, founded their own company TC & C (Tanis Confectionery & Consultancy) in 1995 after the company, where they gained most of their experience, became part of a large conglomerate. They decided that to serve the industry best, a small but highly specialized team would be the answer.

Now in 2008 a team with more than 100 years experience
in sugar confectionery has supplied more than 100 plants,
each designed for the specific process on hand, to the industry
worldwide. In June 2005 TC&C spread its wings, and became part
of ' The Tanis Group, the process designers'.

From concept to final product

Any request a customer might come up with is unique, therefore every
solution provided by Tanis Confectionery will be unique.
This is self-evident. Together with the account manager
the project manager converts the concept into a concrete
solution. This solution is then converted to definite
plans and planning. Should ideas change during the
process so shall we.

Several suppliers are involved in the production
of parts. Each of the suppliers is selected for his
professional skills, continuity and international
orientation. They produce and supply the
standardized or custom-made parts as per
clearly defined specifications of
Tanis Confectionery.
